Rukmini Kelkar, also known as Ruks, is an Indian artist and designer based in Dublin. She moved to the city in 2017, originally a dentist from Mumbai. However, life took a different turn, and she taught herself to paint by watching YouTube videos. Since 2017, she has exhibited her work and expanded her skills with a 2020 diploma in graphic design.

Rukmini's art reflects her colorful Indian heritage blended with her experiences in Ireland. She aims to bring joy to the forefront while addressing imperfections, social issues, feminism, and freedom. Currently pursuing a Masters in Art and Social Action at NCAD.
